This extraordinary work is dedicated to all Moldavian monuments that were destroyed. The monument was inaugurated on March 27, 2004. Thanks to those who have contributed with work, with faith and with finances at the building of this monument, one can walk up on 600 steps that go from the waters of Nistru to the top of a hill in Soroca. On the top there appears a candle-shaped chapel 29, 5 m long, which during the night time has a light which goes as far as Otaci and Camenca. One can admire a magnificent view from the top of this hill.

2. Soroca Fortress
is situated in the historical center of Soroca, and was of particular importance for the defense system of medieval Moldavia. The fortress was built on the bank of the river Nistru during the rule of Stefan cel Mare, and it was rebuilt of stone in 1543 - 1546 during the rule of Petru Rares. The fortress is made in the form of a circumference with a diameter of 30, 5 m. It was an effective defense for Moldovan people from the raids of Turkey troops. The fortress is a medieval monument of the country that is kept in its original appearance, without changing. You can visit the small military church that is situated over the gates of fortress.

founded in 1729, like a hermitage on the territory of the Husi See. It was administratively subordinated to the Calauseuca Monastery. In 1812 the hermitage obtained the statute of monastery, but after 9 years of existence it was closed. In 1994 the bishop Ieronim received a new place for a monastery and in the next four years it is built the church from the Cosauti stone.
